Who We Are
Theotokos Junior Academy is an online Coptic Orthodox learning community for children and teens from kindergarten through grade 12. We exist for one simple reason:
So that our children grow up with deep roots in Christ, a clear love for the Church, and the courage to witness to their faith wherever God places them.
In a world filled with noise, confusion, and constant questions, we want to offer our children something steady and beautiful: Scripture, the life of the Church, and a safe place to ask real questions—all framed by the faith of the Coptic Orthodox Church.
Theotokos Junior Academy is in partnership with Holy Sophia University, working closely together to offer faithful teaching, thoughtful programs, and a solid Orthodox foundation for every family we serve.
Our Mission
Theotokos Junior Academy, working with Holy Sophia University, aims to teach children and teens from kindergarten through grade 12 about the Coptic Orthodox faith through the Bible, church practices, discussions of beliefs, and support for families, so they can understand, practice, and stand up for their faith with confidence.
Our Vision
To live this mission, we will:
Provide age-based online programs (KG–12) that unite Bible study, church teaching, and real-life application.
Offer proactive learning for every unit: a guided PDF, an engaging video, and a live weekly Zoom session.
Prepare teens through Servant Prep to teach, lead small groups, and serve in the Church with humility and wisdom.
Support young professional families with parent awareness meetings and practical resources.
Motivate students through Orthodox-centered competitions with big prizes—scholarships, retreats, quality books, and icons—so that their enthusiasm for learning is matched by a deeper love for Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Church.
