BIBLE STUDY PROGRAM

Deep Roots in God’s Word

Our Bible study program is the core of everything we do. In partnership with Holy Sophia University, we guide children and teens from kindergarten through grade 12 to develop a living relationship with the Word of God—reading, loving, memorizing, and applying it in daily life. Your child doesn’t just “cover” the Bible; they grow within it, learning to hear the voice of our Lord Jesus Christ and walk with Him in the Coptic Orthodox faith.
Why Bible Study Matters Now

Today’s world is loud, fast, and often hostile to faith. Our children are hearing messages every day about identity, success, and truth that don’t match the Gospel.
That’s why they need more than random verses: they need a clear, guided path through Scripture that:

  • Teaches them who God is and who they are in Him

  • Connects Bible passages to the life of the Church

  • Prepares them to answer questions with confidence and gentleness

  • Builds habits of prayer, reflection, and obedience

Our Bible study program is designed to help your child stand steady when the world feels unstable.

Three-format learning for every topic:
  1. Guided Study PDF

    • Age-appropriate passages

    • Clear explanations and key themes

    • Short patristic insights

    • Questions for personal reflection and family discussion

  2. Engaging Video Lesson

    • 3-7 minutes per session

    • Storytelling, visuals, and connections to icons, feasts, and sacraments

    • Perfect for visual and auditory learners

  3. Regular online Bible Session (Zoom)

    • Small groups by age (KG–2, 3–5, 6–8, 9–12)

    • Led by trained Orthodox servants

    • Time for questions, sharing, and practical application

Age-Based Tracks
  • KG–2: Foundations—Simple stories, short verses, and learning to pray.

  • 3–5: Roots—Salvation story, basic doctrine, and beginning reflection.

  • 6–8: Firm Faith—Deeper study, themes, cross-references, and Church history.

  • 9–12: Defenders & Servants—In-depth Bible study, apologetics, and preparation to teach others.

Each level builds on the previous one, so your child grows step by step from the first stories to a strong conviction.
